Marketing Executive

Join our growing team at ShipMate, a dynamic shipping agency providing top-tier maritime services. We are looking for a Marketing Executive to help expand our market reach and drive business growth.

Location: Batam, Indonesia
Employment Type: Contract

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities and partnerships with the targeted market 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Generate qualified leads, create quotation, and provide timely update to clients in the shipping agency process 
  • Execute marketing strategies to generate leads and expand the company’s presence 
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Instagram) and provide insights from them
  • Create compelling marketing content, including copywriting and basic graphic design
  • Support sales activities, including onsite visits as well as preparing proposals and presentations to clients
  • Provide timely sales and marketing report and feedback to the Business Development Manager and coordinate with internal teams to align marketing and business development efforts
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience in marketing and sales (preferably in the shipping/vessel agency)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms
  • Demonstrate creativity and business acumen 
  • Fluent in both English and Indonesian (spoken and written)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Resides in Batam, Indonesia
